The Democratic Party of Korea reiterated that it will take immediate action as there will be a plenary session on the 26th if Acting President and Prime Minister Han Deok-soo does not accept the independent counsel and Kim's independent counsel law against civil war by today (24th).
Yoon Jong-gun, a spokesman for the party, told reporters after the general meeting of lawmakers that Han seems to accept impeachment as a little "warning," but the party's atmosphere so far has not.
He also explained that the National Assembly Steering Committee's additional plenary session schedule, including the 27th and 30th, and the 2nd and 3rd of next month, was also in consideration of the possibility of Han's impeachment.
Park Chan-dae, the floor leader, also criticized acting Prime Minister Han and floor leader Kwon Sung-dong at the general assembly, saying that the drag of the people's power is intended to amplify uncertainty and eventually ruin the country.
The Democratic Party of Korea said it has decided to deal with the parliamentary investigation on the 31st with National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, although the public's power is consistent as a delay strategy in the case of a civil war investigation.
