The National Assembly will vote on the appointment of Ma Eun-hyuk, Jeong Gye-seon, and Cho Han-chang as candidates for constitutional judges after the confirmation hearing process has ended at the plenary session today (26th).

The majority Democratic Party is expected to urge Acting President Han Deok-soo to exercise his right to appoint as soon as the motion for appointment is approved and coordinate the timing of the impeachment motion.

The People's Power, which has opposed the recruitment of constitutional judges, is considering asking the Constitutional Court for a power dispute trial if the opposition party pushes ahead with the resolution of the appointment motion.
