The captain, who was being treated in the Gunsan ship fire, finally died.

Yesterday (25th), a ship fire in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, eventually killed the captain who was being treated for gas poisoning.

The captain in his 60s, who was being treated at a hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning, died at around 8 p.m. yesterday (25th), about seven hours after the ship fire.

Earlier, at around 1:10 p.m. yesterday, a fire broke out at a 5-ton fish farm management ship anchored at Shinsido Port in Okdo-myeon, Gunsan, and it was extinguished in about 40 minutes after burning three ships.
