The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions' Metal Workers' Union urged the Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo to resign immediately, saying he is advocating emergency martial law.
The Metal Workers' Union held a press conference in front of the Seoul Employment and Labor Office today (26th) and criticized Minister Kim as the only member of the State Council to defend President Yoon Suk Yeol, refusing to apologize to the public for the emergency martial law.
In addition, Minister Kim pointed out that he even called the police when he criticized a citizen he recently met at the front-line Employment and Labor Office as an accomplice in a civil war, and that he could not find any responsibility.
At the same time, he stressed that Minister Kim should step down from office, saying he repeatedly refused to attend the National Assembly's Environment and Labor Committee and continues to suppress unions.
