The final selection of 13 cultural cities in Korea...260 billion won spent for three years.

Thirteen cities nationwide, including Sejong Special Self-Governing City, Andong City in North Gyeongsang Province, and Suncheon City in South Jeolla Province, were finally selected as Korean cultural cities.

By 2027, 260 billion won will be invested in the cultural city, and various cultural facilities will be built to suit each region's characteristics.

All of them are public buildings built in Sejong Special Self-Governing City, which has a Hangeul cultural city.

The 13 Korean cultural cities finally selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism reflect various cultural characteristics by region.

Sokcho, Gangwon-do, which reflects the natural environment of the East Sea and the food culture of displaced people.

Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, which retains the Confucian culture of Korea.

Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, which attracts tourists with various folk and cultural performances, is representative.

By 2027, 13 cultural cities will provide 20 billion won per city and 260 billion won in total, providing cultural infrastructure suitable for regional characteristics.

Additional budgets are invested in cities that perform well by evaluating their projects.
