Amid a surge in cake sales for Christmas and the end of the year, there are a series of reviews that the commercial image and the real thing are different.

Recently, an online community posted, "I bought a cake from a franchise company and I feel like I've been scammed."

Author A said he bought a strawberry whipped cream cake at a franchise bakery and was greatly disappointed by the completely different appearance from the advertising image.

In the advertising image, strawberries are placed on top of the cake, but there are only six strawberries in the cake purchased by A.

Similar reviews have been posted one after another on online communities and social network services (SNS).

Author B said, "I will never buy a franchise cake again. It says that the image can be different, but it's too much," he said, sharing a picture.

If you look at the picture shared by B, strawberries and blueberries are evenly placed on the cake in the advertising image, but there is not a single blueberry in the actual cake.

Netizens responded by saying, "We need to file a complaint with the headquarters," "Korea should also make a law that should not be different from the picture in person," "Isn't it a scam?" "This is why I never buy cakes in franchises during the end of the year season," and "It seems to be different from store to store."
