GTX-A Line 'Unjeong-Seoul Station' section opens tomorrow

The section from Unjeong Central Station to Seoul Station, the northern section of the GTX-A line in the metropolitan area, will open tomorrow (28th).

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport predicted that the opening of the GTX-A Unjeong Jungang-Seoul Station section will significantly shorten the travel time from up to 90 minutes to 22 minutes.

In order to increase the convenience of users in the new opening section, trains will be intensively deployed during commuting hours, and trains will be operated at intervals of 6 minutes and 15 seconds, he said.

GTX-A previously opened the Suseo-Dongtan section of the southern section on March 30, followed by an additional opening of its constituent station on June 29.
