Tomorrow's pro-impeachment rally in Gwanghwamun area...traffic congestion forecast

Tomorrow (28th), a rally for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol will be held simultaneously in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said that some roads will be closed tomorrow afternoon as a rally hosted by the Immediate Step Down and Emergency Action for Social Reform is scheduled in the areas of Dong-Sip-ja Rotary and Nae-ja Rotary.

The emergency action will march to Myeong-dong via Woojeongguk-ro and Namdaemun-ro after the rally.

The Liberty Korea Party, which opposes impeachment, also holds a rally from the intersection of Sejong-daero to Daehanmun, raising concerns about traffic congestion.

The police plan to operate variable lanes and deploy more than 160 traffic police officers to manage traffic, such as detouring vehicles.
