Choo Shin-soo Appoints SSG Owner's Assistant and Development Manager

Choo Shin-soo, who turned into the front desk of the club after retirement, has been confirmed for the new season.

Professional baseball SSG announced that it has appointed Choo Shin-soo as the assistant and general manager of the team.The

team revealed the background of its appointment, saying that Choo Shin-soo thought he could help young players grow well based on his experience in the U.S. Major League Baseball.

Choo Shin-soo joined KBO SSG in 2021 with a major league batting average of 275 with 218 home runs and 782 RBIs.

Since then, he has retired after hitting 54 home runs with a batting average of 263 for four seasons until this year, and has turned into a club front desk to continue his role.
