A Japanese doctor participated in an anatomy practice and posted a picture of the body on social media, sparking controversy.

According to Japan's NHK recently, Tokyo Plastic Surgery Doctor Aimi Kuroda posted photos and videos of his anatomy education in Guam on his SNS on the 29th of last month.

He said, "I'm going to dissect a fresh body! I have a lot of heads," he wrote, and posted an unmosaic-free photo of some of the bodies. He also posted photos of him posing for a V with his colleagues in the background of the body in the anatomical lab.

Among Japanese netizens who encountered the photos and writings, criticism poured out over the lack of ethical consciousness as a doctor.

As the controversy grew, he deleted the post and posted an apology.

Guroda explained, "As a doctor and a person, I sincerely apologize for posting a post that lacked ethics," adding, "I thought all the bodies in the picture were mosaic, but they were not part of it."

"In Japan, there are very few opportunities to practice with fresh anatomical bodies," he said, adding, "I posted it because I wanted more doctors to know that there was such a valuable opportunity."

However, despite Kuroda's apology, there is strong criticism in the region. As a doctor, he did not show respect for the donor, and some even said, "I will withdraw my consent to donate my body."

On social media such as X, "Not all people in the medical community will be like that, but trust in the Japanese medical community has fallen because of Kuroda," and "I don't want to be a doctor's toy after I die."
