In Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, "Seoul Run"..."Closing the Regional Education Gap"

To bridge the educational gap between regions, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, signed an agreement on Seoul Run, Seoul's educational welfare policy, and decided to provide online learning contents and career advancement consulting to 200 students in Pyeongchang.

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon emphasized, "As Seoul Run has begun to bridge the educational gap between regions beyond the educational gap between classes, we will try to make more students in Korea enjoy the benefits."

In response, Pyeongchang-gun County Governor Shim Jae-guk said, "The population outflow in rural areas is serious due to lack of educational resources. We will bridge the educational gap between regions and provide equal learning opportunities for students through Seoul Run."
