While the president of Yoon Suk Yeol has decided to set up a delegation of representatives and respond to the impeachment proceedings, he said he is not refusing to attend the summons of the high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office.
Yoon Kap-geun, a lawyer for Yoon Suk Yeol's president, said in a phone call with YTN that he would later summarize the reasons for not responding to the investigative agency's summons, and that what is clear is that he does not comply with the request for attendance.
He also said he would speak separately about the summons notice of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit on the 29th, and responded with the intention that he would focus on responding to the impeachment trial of the Constitutional Court today.
Earlier, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit sent a third request to President Yoon to come out as a suspect on the 29th and be investigated.
