Brentford Kim Ji-soo, who is drawing attention as the next generation of defenders in Korea, made his Premier League debut 18 months after joining the team.
In the 33rd minute of the second half of the league's away game against Brighton, Kim Ji-soo was replaced by injured center back Benmi and played for 12 minutes, helping to a 0-0 draw.
Kim Ji-soo, who celebrated his 20th birthday on the 24th, became the youngest Korean Premier Leaguer ever, younger than Ji Dong-won of Sunderland, who debuted at the age of 20 years and three months in 2011.
Kim Ji-soo, who joined Brentford in June last year, only played in the first division stage in September against the third-division team in the Carabao Cup round of 32.
Brentford, who added one more point, finished 11th in the league, and the next match will be at home against Arsenal on the 2nd of next month.
