Yes, the current temperature in Seoul is -4.4 degrees, and the wind chill is about twice as low as -8.1 degrees, which is even more intense than when I visited here last week.

However, there are still many people here to overshadow the extreme cold.

The cold wind froze hands and ears, but citizens are skating heavily armed with hats, gloves, and scarves.

Even if you slip and fall while skating, it's full of laughter.

Now, Seoul is generally with clear skies, but snow clouds are passing through the west coast of Chungnam, Honam, and Jeju Island.

Honam, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo receive a lot of snow, ranging from 1 to 2 cm per hour.

Overnight, heavy snow warnings were issued in Jeongeup, Sunchang and Buan, and other inland areas of Honam and Jeju mountains with high humidity of 1 to 3cm per hour.

Since yesterday, a lot of snow has accumulated up to 24.4cm in Bokheung-myeon, Sunchang, and up to 20.6cm in Jeongeup.

There is a high risk of weak structures such as secret houses collapsing or breaking branches on the side of the road due to the snow.

The East Coast, where a special dry warning has been in effect for several days, is drying up.

The atmosphere is dry and the wind will be strong at around 15 m/s.

In particular, the west coast of Honam and the coast of Jeju Island, where the strong wind warning is in effect, are expected to have strong winds of more than 20m per second, so please keep things that are easy to fly.

With cold wave warnings in effect in eastern Gyeonggi Province and Yeongseo, these areas will see around 0 degrees Celsius during the day, and many places will stay below zero even in the middle of the day.

Today's daytime temperature will be 1 degree in Seoul, 4 degrees in Gwangju, and Daegu, similar to yesterday or slightly lower.

Tomorrow, it will be mostly sunny inland, while Chungnam and Jeonbuk will receive about 1cm of snow or light rain.

Next Monday, the cold will ease up, but on Tuesday, the last day of the year, the cold wind will push in and become cold again.

Since then, there has been no news of snow rain, so you can see the sunset and sunrise through the clouds across the country.

Currently, most of the sea is in effect with a special wind and waves warning.
