For the weekend, rallies are held throughout downtown Seoul to call for the impeachment of President Yoon.

The civic group Candlelight Action held a candlelight culture festival around the Constitutional Court from 2 p.m. to call for President Yoon's immediate dismissal.

At the same time, the National Conference on the Situation of University Students, who resigned from the Yoon Suk Yeol, also began a rally near Gyeongbokgung Station to criticize the declaration of emergency martial law, the rejection of the first impeachment bill, and President Yoon's refusal to investigate.

The emergency action of the resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol, led by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic groups, will hold a large-scale rally at Gwanghwamun's synaptic pavilion from 4 p.m. and march around the Constitutional Court and around downtown areas such as Myeong-dong.

There was also a counter-rally.

Conservative groups, including the Liberty Korea Party, began a large-scale rally in front of the Donghwa Duty Free Shop in Gwanghwamun from 1 p.m.

They are shouting for the protection of President Yoon, saying that impeachment is invalid because emergency martial law itself is legal.

Police said traffic congestion is expected throughout the city, and asked people to check traffic conditions in advance if they use public transportation and vehicles if possible.
