Police have also obtained a communication warrant for former floor leader Choo's mobile phone and are analyzing the call details.
Earlier, former floor leader Choo was accused of rebellion by the Democratic Party of Korea and others and booked as a suspect.
The Democratic Party claimed that former floor leader Choo tried to interfere with the vote to lift martial law by bringing ruling party lawmakers to the party during the emergency martial law or asking the National Assembly speaker to postpone the plenary session.
In response, former floor leader Choo has strongly denied the allegations.
After the declaration of martial law, a general meeting of lawmakers was called, but as access to the National Assembly was restricted, the venue was changed to a party outside the National Assembly.
He also explained that asking Chairman Woo Won-sik to postpone the plenary session to the effect that he needed time to gather lawmakers.
