From a 3-year-old to an 80th birthday family...a tragic end-of-year trip

Among the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster were a three-year-old child and nine members of a family who went on a trip to celebrate their 80th birthday.

There are many family-level travelers who headed to Thailand for Christmas, raising their sadness.

Every time the victim's name is called, there is a crying scream among the bereaved families.

We hoped it wouldn't be called that much, but all 179 were listed as victims except for the two who were rescued.

Among the victims, there were about 10 minors and five children under the age of 10.

The youngest victim was born in 2021 and ended her very short life at the age of just three.

In addition, it was found that there were many family-level travelers, with nine family members traveling together for the 80th anniversary.

Gwangju citizens accounted for the largest number of passengers with 81 passengers, and Jeollanam-do residents had 76 passengers.

It was a five-day trip for three nights and five days, mostly local travel agency passengers, who left for Bangkok, Thailand on the 25th of Christmas.A year-end trip with excitement at the end of the year



In an instant, it was marred by a terrible tragedy.
