At the villa in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, the fire...Seven residents inhale smoke.

A fire broke out on the first floor of a five-story villa in Shinhyeon-dong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, at 10:10 p.m. last night (31st) and was extinguished in 50 minutes.

Sixteen residents were evacuated from the fire, and seven of them are receiving hospital treatment for inhaling smoke.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
