The Gangwon National Police Agency said it deployed a special police force and a detection dog for an hour from around 1 p.m. today (2nd) to search Kwon's Gangneung district office and home, but no explosives were found.
An official from the Gangwon National Police Agency explained that they searched their homes and offices in case of possible danger after receiving a request from the Seoul National Police Agency.
Earlier, police said they also searched the People's Power Headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, but no explosives were found, and they were chasing the sender by analyzing the sending route of the threatening fax.
