Major foreign media around the world reported on the execution of an arrest warrant by the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit against President Yoon Suk Yeol as emergency news.

It is the first time in constitutional history that an arrest warrant for a sitting president has been issued, pointing out that he is questionable about the act of preventing legal law enforcement.

Foreign media reported on the situation of the presidential mission in Hannam-dong in real time.

CNN connected Seoul correspondents and experts to show live footage of investigators from the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit entering the presidential residence, attempting to arrest them, and confronting the security service.

It also said the Airborne Department had suspended the execution of arrest warrants for public safety reasons, adding that the warrants were valid and could be extended until January 6.

The New York Times also made a live page on its website and pointed out that Korea's political crisis has grown since the emergency martial law, and Jeju Air has to deal with the disaster.

The BBC pointed out that questions have been raised about troops preventing the execution of legal arrest warrants under the title of a dramatic situation unfolding.

The Associated Press and other news agencies also reported in detail the police deployment and assembly around the presidential residence from the departure of the investigation team of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.

Reuters, in particular, called the issuance of arrest warrants and attempts against sitting presidents in South Korea unprecedented for the first time in the constitutional history.

Major Japanese media, including NHK and Asahi, also reported on the surrounding situation, including the Hannam-dong residence and the movement of protesters.

China's Xinhua News Agency also continued to broadcast emergency news about the process until the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol was finally canceled.
