Park said at the Suwon District Court at 2 p.m. today (6th) that if there is anything to be responsible for, such as violating the law on serious accidents, I will live with atonement until I die.

In addition, Arisel said that he is raising the settlement money of the bereaved families at his own expense due to the deficit for years, and that he will do his best to ensure a smooth agreement in the future.

However, he has denied allegations of violating the Serious Disaster Penalty Act, such as sticking to his previous position that he is not a de facto manager, only receiving some reports about Arisel as head of parent company Econec.

The bereaved families also attended today's trial, and when CEO Park read the apology, he protested, saying, "Didn't you say you can't take responsibility because you're not in charge of management?"CEO

Park was arrested and charged with violating his obligation to secure safety and health in the case of a fire at the Arisel plant on June 24 last year, killing 23 workers and injuring 8 others.

Prosecutors believe Arisel, who has lost money every year, caused an accident by forcibly producing unskilled labor illegally dispatched without technology to increase sales.
