"Re-claim to extend the deadline for the president's arrest warrant"

Today (6th), the expiration date of the arrest warrant for the president of Yoon Suk Yeol, the High-ranking Civil Servants Crime Bureau asked the court to extend the expiration date.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit said it applied for an extension of the validity period by re-claiming an arrest warrant for President Yoon to the Seoul Western District Court this afternoon (6th).

The validity period of the arrest warrant issued against President Yoon on the 31st of last month is the 7th, and it is interpreted as a measure to attempt additional arrest as it expires from 0:00 a.m. tomorrow.

The court will review the reasons for the re-claim and decide whether to issue a warrant.
