The Democratic Party of Korea said it is considering filing a complaint against Acting President Choi Sang-mok on charges of dereliction of duty, saying he is sitting on the sidelines of a constitutional order destruction.
Senior spokesman Cho Seung-rae told reporters at the National Assembly that Choi is neglecting to recommend a permanent special prosecutor, appoint constitutional judges and Supreme Court judges, and direct the presidential security agency to block arrest warrants.
He then argued that it was a clear dereliction of duty not to request a permanent special prosecutor or appoint a judge, which should be done without delay even after 10 days have passed since acting Choi became an acting president.Asked if he would consider impeaching Acting President Choi, a spokesman for the
