Last year, exports of agri-food and front and rear industries amounted to $13 billion...the greatest ever

Last year, exports of agri-food, agricultural machinery, smart farms, and other agricultural and front-end industries exceeded $13 billion.

This is a 6.1% increase from the year before, the highest performance ever.

Agri-food exports rose 9% from a year ago to $9.98 billion, similarly reaching an all-time high.

By item, ramen exports rose the most at 31%, and rice-processed foods such as frozen kimbap and tteokbokki and kimchi exports showed high growth.

Agri-food exporters increased from 199 countries last year to 207 last year.
