"Be careful of falling icicles".Seoul's 119 Dispatch Count Focussed on January

The number of 119 dispatches due to large icicles in the building was concentrated in January.

According to the case of the Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters dispatched by icicle safety measures over the past three years, January was 682, accounting for more than half of the total number of dispatches in winter.

Of the total 50 safety measures for 119 in Seoul related to cold waves this winter, 23 cases of removing icicles accounted for the largest proportion.

The Seoul Fire Department said icicles occur a lot when temperatures rise and fall below zero, and asked them to report large icicles to 119, not to forcefully remove them.
