2025.01.10 AM 10:25
A project will be carried out to provide a hydrophilic space to citizens by removing the military border fence installed on the coast of Seo-gu, Incheon.

The Incheon Metropolitan Government announced that it will push for a 2.7km section of the Anam Reservoir area in Oryu-dong, Seo-gu, starting next month.

This project will be based on the "Message Agreement on the Removal of Coastal Military Boundary Barrier" signed with the 17th Infantry Division of the Army in 2023.

Incheon City will start the basic and implementation design next month and push for demolition next year, with a total budget of 2.8 billion won.

When the project is completed, it is expected that the creation of a hydrophilic space in Jeongseojin as well as the establishment of a walking and bicycle connection shaft connecting Seo-gu and Gimpo will gain momentum.
