South Korea's Son Yeon-Jae has snatched a silver medal in the hoop competition in her first World Cup gymnastics competition of the season in Lisbon, Portugal.
At the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, the first international tournament in the sporting event, Son revealed new routines and advanced to the individual finals in all of the four events she competed in. She finished fourth overall in the Lisbon event on Sunday.
Son's individual silver is her 12th medal in a row at a World Cup series event. She is scheduled to compete in the second World Cup of the year in Bucharest, Romania starting April 3.
