MBK Partners and Youngpoong were found to have secured more than 5% of their shares through open purchases to secure management rights of Korea Zinc.
An official from MBK Partners said it has secured an additional 5% stake in the tender offer for Korea Zinc, which was held until today (14th).
Youngpoong and MBK said in a statement that they will remain a significant milestone in the nation's capital market after the tender offer ends, adding that they will focus their capabilities on stopping Korea Zinc's share purchase by Chairman Choi Yoon-beom.
