The Seoul Museum of Art's supporters' association held an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its establishment and called for social interest in culture and art.

The celebration included an art auction event that included donated works by famous artists, along with a viewing event for the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Cheon Gyeong-ja, a representative artist of the museum.

The sponsorship will use all the auction proceeds to support emerging artists' creative activities, civic engagement education programs, and exhibition and research projects.

The Seoul Museum of Art Supporters Association is a new art sponsorship model that allows sponsors to directly influence the development of art, such as art museum exhibitions and programs, and has also greatly influenced the establishment and operation of local city art galleries.

Lee Young-hye, chairman of the sponsorship board, said, "We will continue to expand the base of art and create a new model that supports sustainable art activities beyond just financial support."
