Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, will promote a short- and long-term commemorative project with the Nobel Prize in Literature by Han Kang.
Jangheung-gun will first buy the birthplace of Han River's father Han Seung-won in Singsang-ri, Hoejin-myeon, to display literary materials and contents of his father and daughter.
In addition, the city's promenade on Yeodaji Beach in front of artist Han Seung-won's studio will be extensively renovated, and the beach in front of it will be activated.
