Even before professional baseball, which opened the era of 10 million spectators for the first time in regular season history this year, even started the Korean Series, it broke the highest postseason entry income in 12 years.

KBO said it earned 10.04 billion won in admission from 11 games, including two wild card games, five semi-playoffs and four playoff games this year.

This is a new record, exceeding the 10.39 billion won in autumn baseball's admission income in 15 postseason games, including the 2012 Korean Series.

In terms of admission income excluding all expenses, KIA, which ranks first in the regular league, will take 20% first according to the relevant regulations,

Half of the remaining amount will be allocated to the Korean Series winners and 24% to the runner-up team.
