A sexual violence incident has occurred among elementary school students attending an elementary school in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, shocking them.
According to JTBC's report, in April, victim student A suffered sexual violence while visiting home after being invited by perpetrator student B.
At that time, it was reported that B lured A to the house and took off his pants and underwear, and filmed important parts.
According to the mother of the victim student A, B tied A's hands with a mask strap when A resisted, and when he tried to untie it, he held a weapon and threatened, "If I run away, I will cut off my finger."
A's parents claimed that B seems to have committed such a crime, aiming at the fact that his child has a borderline intelligence disorder.
Immediately after the incident, the victim's mother informed the school of the incident and asked for separate measures between the perpetrator and the victim. Accordingly, the school reportedly took measures not to physically encounter each other for six days.
In addition, the School Violence Countermeasures Review Committee (School Violence Committee) was held in June, and B was suspended for 10 days. According to the results of the deliberation, the seriousness and intentionality of the perpetrator's school violence were recognized, but it seems that such measures were taken because they judged that it was not continuous.
B's assault has happened in the past. About a year ago, when A ran into the closed door, B bent his arms and wrists to the point where he had to wear a cast. It was concluded that the case was decided by the principal's own decision to recommend counseling treatment to the perpetrator.
A's parents complained of frustration, saying, "My parents apologized before the school violence committee and said, 'I will consider transferring to another school,' but when the attendance was suspended for 10 days, I went in."
Currently, A is known to be in a situation where he cannot go to school without taking medicine due to severe anxiety symptoms.
