President Yoon Suk Yeol attended the World Volunteer Conference in Busan and said that strong solidarity is needed to protect the freedom and prosperity of mankind.President

Yoon said he would play a leading role in bridging the development gap, climate gap, and digital gap between countries.

He then emphasized that Busan was a city of refugees more than 70 years ago, but they helped, shared, and cared for each other to overcome the wounds of war together, and emphasized that if this power of solidarity spreads more widely, human life will be brighter and warmer.

The World Volunteer Congress, hosted by the World Volunteer Council, is the only international competition in the field of volunteer work, and Korea succeeded in attracting a domestic competition for the first time in 22 years.
