U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris noted that former President Donald Trump is likely to declare victory before the presidential vote count is completed and is preparing for it.

Asked in an interview with NBC on the 22nd local time, "What is the plan for former President Trump to declare victory before the vote count is completed in the presidential election?" Vice President Harris said, "We have two weeks left until the presidential election and I'm focusing on the present in terms of what we need to do."

Harris then said, "We will respond to the presidential election day and after the presidential election as it comes," adding, "We also have resources, expertise, and concentration," and emphasized the possibility of Trump declaring victory in advance.

Trump also pointed to the seriousness of the matter, highlighting the attack on the U.S. Capitol by inciting a mob, saying it tried to reverse the results of free and fair elections and still denied the will of the people.

With the presidential election just two weeks away, the people have to make very serious decisions about the future of the U.S., Vice President Harris said. "Whether we want a president who knows the U.S. has to stand strong as a world leader or Trump who openly respects the dictator, the options presented to the American people at the moment."

"My term is not a continuation of the Biden administration," Vice President Harris said when NBC polls showed voters thinking the Biden administration's policies had harmed them economically. "I have my own experience and thoughts."

Asked if he thought a woman of color could be president in the United States, he said, "Of course."

Asked if he was reluctant to speak about the historical nature of his candidacy, an Asian-Black woman, at a campaign rally, he said with a smile, "Obviously, I'm a woman," and replied, "The point that people care about is whether you can work and if you have a plan that focuses on them."

In addition, when asked if religious aspects could be considered as concession cards in negotiations with Congress on abortion rights guarantees, Vice President Harris said, "I don't think we should make concessions when we talk about fundamental freedom to make decisions about our bodies."
