Representatives from each region solve the puzzle one by one.

It is a performance that announces the launch of the Central Inland Regional Council.

The first agenda of the council, which includes eight cities and provinces, including North Gyeongsang Province, North Jeolla Province, Gyeonggi Province, and Gangwon Province, as well as Chungcheong Province, is the Central Inland Special Act.

As it has been alienated from the national development plan, it has decided to jointly propose a revision of the special law that includes financial and administrative support, transfer of authority, and special matters.

[Lee Chul-woo / Governor of North Gyeongsang Province: In order for the country to develop, Korea needs to give the central authority to the provinces]

The amendment to the special law contains provisions that will be effective, such as exemption from preliminary feasibility studies and strengthening the authority of the head of the organization, which was excluded from the original draft implemented in June.

73 special cases considering regional equity were also reflected.

On this day, the council discussed the establishment of a comprehensive development plan containing regional issues and voted to appoint Kim Young-hwan, the governor of North Chungcheong Province, as the chairman to lead the council.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Security, which opposed the special law due to equity with other regions, also promised to help.

The problem is that it's a tight time.

The Central Inland Special Act is a limited-time law set until 2032, and the comprehensive development plan must be completed by March next year.

The amendment, which aims to be passed by the end of this year, is a whole amendment proposed by Representative Lee Jong-bae of the People's Power,
Rep. Park Deok-heum of the same party as
and Rep. Lee Yeon-hee of the Democratic Party of Korea are said to be likely to merge the revised bill of Chungbuk Province.
