A video showing a middle school student who assaulted and killed an elderly man in his 70s was released.

According to JTBC's 'Case Team Leader' on the 25th, the incident took place in Hyeongyeong-myeon, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do at around 5:40 p.m. on the 13th.

According to the informant A, A's parents have been close to their neighbors since moving here seven years ago. Recently, Mr. A's father, Mr. B, gave a side dish bowl and a frying pan to his neighbor's house, but for some reason, he got the gift back.

In response, B brought another gift to his neighbor's house to write it again, but B, who was disappointed in the process, said, "If you're not going to use it, just give it back."

Due to this, B was having a quarrel with his neighbor's mother and daughter, and at that time, a grandson of a neighbor who was wandering around appeared with work gloves and punched B twice. After that, the grandson of the neighbor left the scene after throwing away his gloves.

B, whose skull was fractured due to this assault, died on the 17th from a cerebral hemorrhage.

"I've been seeing that child since elementary school, so I'm more shocked," A said. "My neighbor's mother and daughter and her grandson have never apologized so far. Rather, the grandchild of the house said, "I just have to live for a few years."

Lawyer Park Ji-hoon said, "There is a possibility that murder may be applied, but for now, it seems highly likely that it will be an assault and death," adding, "Since I am not a juvenile under the law, I think it will be a criminal punishment, not just a protective disposition."
