Ruling party "Sending troops to North Russia strongly condemns..."Promoting a National Assembly Resolution"

People's Power is a reckless military cooperation that threatens world peace over North Korea's decision to provide large-scale troops to the war in Ukraine to help Russia, and said it would push for a resolution to condemn it at the parliament level.

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho said at a press conference that North Korea's reckless actions are increasing the possibility of spreading and prolonging the war in Ukraine and could pose a significant threat to the Korean Peninsula in the future.

Senior spokesman Han Ji-ah also criticized North Korea for immediately stopping irrational and reckless provocations, saying that it is very unusual to send large troops to the front beyond simple weapons support and is a major challenge against international law and security order.

People's Power lawmakers from the National Assembly's National Defense Committee and Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee also issued a statement condemning North Korea's dispatch as a dangerous provocation and unprofitable irrationality to participate in Russia's war crimes in violation of international law.
