Ukrainian President Zelensky has called for a strong response from the international community to North Korea's involvement in the war, including the dispatch of troops.

President Zelensky insists that Ukraine's accession to NATO is the way to end the war, but the end seems far away because of the wide gap between member states.

Ukrainian President Zelensky in Video Speech,

North Korea says there is sufficient satellite and video evidence that it is sending soldiers as well as equipment to Russia.

Therefore, I urged the international community to respond more firmly to North Korea, which supports Russia's aggression.

[Volodymyr Zelensky / Ukrainian President: We expect a normal, honest and strong response from our partners to this.]

President Zelenskyy argued that the only way to end the war was to formally invite NATO and NATO to join.

Zelensky predicted that Ukraine's accession to NATO was essential to bringing Russian President Putin to the negotiating table.

[Volodymyr Zelensky / President of Ukraine / 19th: Do you want us to talk to Russia? Please empower us to have equal status. Give us NATO invitations and weapons.]

According to NATO regulations, 'invitation to join' is the first necessary procedure for joining a new member state and requires unanimous approval from 32 member states.

However, the problem with Ukraine's invitation to join NATO is that there is a wide gap between member states,
Earlier in July, NATO member states expressed their intention to support Ukraine's accession to the summit, but did not agree on a specific timeline.

[Alexander Steub / President of Finland (July 10): Ukraine's path towards NATO membership is now irreversible.]

The U.S. and Germany, in particular, are reluctant to comment because they are concerned about rising tensions with Russia.

As a result, analysts say that the results of next month's U.S. presidential election will be a big variable.

Vice President Kamala Harris says she will consider Ukraine's NATO membership later, while

Former President Trump criticized the U.S. military support for Ukraine and said he would resolve the war as soon as possible if elected.
