The People's Power Ethics Committee has begun discussions on the expulsion of the president of Yoon Suk Yeol under the order of representative Han Dong-hoon.

The People's Power Ethics Committee said it held a meeting at around 10 p.m. last night (12th) and began deliberations on the start of the presidential disciplinary process.

However, it did not reach a conclusion on the same day, but the ethics committee explained that it decided to proceed with the process carefully considering the seriousness of the issue.

Earlier, after President Yoon's statement to the public, Han urgently ordered a meeting of the ethics committee, saying it became clearer that he could not serve as president, and there were a series of public opposition from the pro-Yoon community.
