European media analyzed that Yoon Suk Yeol defended the declaration of martial law, noting that he would "fight until the end" of the president's statement.

Some pointed out that President Yoon is in a more serious power vacuum than lame duck, and that South Korea needs new leadership.

"President Yoon Suk Yeol's bizarre attempt at martial law is still causing great confusion in Korea."

In an editorial, the British daily Guardian analyzed the domestic situation that has been going on since the 3rd.

The crisis is damaging a country that has emerged from poverty and devastation and has become a rare democratic success story in Asia, he said.

At the same time, he argued that President Yoon is in a "dead-duck" state, not a "lame-duck," and that immediate elections and new leadership are needed.

The BBC, a British public broadcaster, quickly reported the statement in an article titled "President Yoon of Korea Vows to Fight to the Last."

The BBC paid attention to President Yoon's emphasis on not avoiding legal and political responsibility, repeating his existing position, including his denial of the alleged rebellion and the opposition's false accusation of instigation.

French daily Le Monde and AFP interpreted the statement as justifying martial law, saying that President Yoon made clear his willingness to fight until the end with a resistant tone.

The Financial Times also analyzed that President Yoon defended the declaration of emergency martial law ahead of the re-decision on the impeachment bill.

In addition, Han Dong-hoon, the representative of People's Power, said that the only solution is to suspend the execution of his duties due to impeachment, predicting that President Yoon's political fate could be determined within a few days.

European media are paying attention to the re-voting of the impeachment bill tomorrow, pointing out that representative Han Dong-hoon changed his position in favor of impeachment.
