Korea-Japan business community in one place..."Let's prepare for the new 60 years".

South Korean and Japanese businesses have agreed to prepare for a future-oriented "new 60 years" to mark the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan next year.

The Korea Business Association and Japan's Keidanren held the 31st Korea-Japan Business Conference today (18th) at the FKI Tower Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul.

In his opening remarks, Ryu Jin, chairman of the Korea Economic Association, said, "Businessmen in both countries should seriously design what to do for the new 60 years," adding, "We also need to cooperate with issues facing low birth rates, local extinction, and the climate crisis."

Marking the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations next year, Chairman Masakazu Tokura of Keidanren said that efforts should be made to establish future-oriented relations between Korea and Japan.
