Suspicions have been raised that an executive of HDC Hyundai Industrial Development Co., led by Chung Mong-kyu, president of the Korea Football Association, was dispatched as an advisor to the Korea Football Association and effectively took control of the entire affairs.

Representative Bae Hyun-jin claimed that HDC Hyundai Industrial Development's managing director A was dispatched to the association in 2013, when Chairman Chung took office as chairman of the association, and is exercising full office power such as personnel affairs, general affairs, accounting, and funds.

In particular, Representative Bae pointed out that A was sent to the association for management support advice, but he was excessively involved in his work, such as approving 7,000 internal documents a year.

He also criticized the association for refusing to submit data on the grounds of personal information, although it was confirmed that he received a salary from HDC Hyundai Development and received huge financial benefits such as business promotion fees, advisory fees, transportation fees, and communication expenses from the association.
