A former head of Woori Bank's headquarters, considered a key official, has been put on trial in custody amid allegations of unfair loans by former Woori Financial Group Chairman Sohn Tae-seung.

The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office today (15th) arrested and charged former head of Woori Bank Lim on charges of breach of trust and bribery under the Specific Economic Crimes Act.While serving as the head of Woori Bank's Sindorim Financial Center, Mr.

Son, was arrested last month on charges of forgery of private documents and embezzlement under the Specific Economic Crimes Act and will face his first trial in November.

In the midst of this, the prosecution is expanding its investigation by seizing and searching nine offices of former and current officials of Woori Bank, including former chairman Sohn's home on the 11th.
