Japanese Media "Coordinate Korea-U.S.-Japan Summit to Host U.S. in December"

The government of South Korea, the U.S. and Japan is coordinating to hold a trilateral summit in Hawaii or California in December, Japanese private broadcasting news network JNN reported, citing diplomatic officials.

However, although South Korea, the U.S. and Japan are coordinating this, they said there is a possibility of holding a trilateral summit in time for the international conference to be held in South America next month.

South Korea, the U.S. and Japan are expected to hold a vice foreign ministerial meeting in Seoul on the 16th to discuss the schedule of holding a trilateral summit in the wake of multilateral summits such as the APEC summit and the G20 summit next month.
