Israeli media reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home was attacked by a drone believed to have been carried out by Hezbollah.

The Times of Israel and others quoted the prime minister's office as saying on the 19th local time that Netanyahu and his wife were not home at the time of the airstrike, and that part of the house was broken, but there were no casualties.

Israeli media explained that the drone appeared to be a Hezbollah attack flying from Lebanon and targeting Netanyahu's home.

Earlier, the Israeli military said three drones flew towards Israel from Lebanon early in the morning, one of which hit a building in Caesaria.

The Israeli military is investigating the error, saying authorities did not operate an alarm system in the area at the time of the drone strike.

The coastal city of Caesar, north of Tel Aviv, is home to Mr. Netanyahu's residence, about 70 kilometers from the Lebanese border.

Israel's military said 55 projectiles had been flown from Lebanon earlier in the day, with some intercepted.

In the northern Israeli city of Akre, 20 kilometers from the Lebanese border, a man in his 50s was killed by rocket debris from Lebanon.
