KBS apologized for using subtitles that misrepresented the pronunciation of Korean consonants on the broadcast of the event on Hangeul Day.
KBS 1TV broadcast the subtitle of the lyrics "Kikyu Ni Eun Ddul" during the band's performance of the 578th Hangul Day celebration held yesterday (9th) as "Memory Ni Eun Ddul Ddul."
In response, KBS said in a statement today (10th) that there was an error in the subtitles provided by the event's agency, but it was not able to filter them out and apologized for the inconvenience.
He added that after finding the error, the replay service was temporarily suspended and the service resumed after correcting.
