Oh Se-hoon "Myeong Tae-kyun, absurd claim..."I'll pay for it."

While Myung Tae-kyun, a key figure in Kim Gun-hee's Suspicion of Intervention in Nomination, claimed that he led the process of unifying candidates during the 2021 Seoul mayoral by-election, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon refuted the claim as absurd.

Mayor Oh warned on his Facebook page that he had not dealt with Myung's claims, but that he would now try to correct them, and that he would pay the price through the prosecution's investigation.

He added that during the 2021 Seoul mayoral by-election, former lawmaker Kim Young-sun strongly requested to meet with Myung, but he cut off the relationship because he thought he was a strange and dangerous person.

In addition, Myung claims that he influenced the unification through Kim Jong-in, former chairman of the emergency committee, who said he was a strong anti-unification theorist and pointed out that the person who advised the unification strategy was self-contradictory in that he opposed it the most.

In addition, he said, "Myeong's media interview that Mayor Oh clung on to him to save him is a ridiculous claim," adding, "It is nonsense to set up a small smile in front of a political businessman that I have never seen before."

Mayor Oh also emphasized that Korean politics will develop only when this kind of thing is not allowed in the political world, saying that mixing facts and lies and setting fires are a trick to cover up one's own skin and divert attention.
