The Coast Guard's high-speed patrols quickly chase Chinese fishing boats running away when they are caught in crackdown while fishing without permission early on the 7th.

Within 10 minutes of the chase, the fishing boat was pulled up to detect violations and seized on illegal fishing charges.

Since last month, when the Chinese fishing boat ban was lifted, there has been a chase between the Coast Guard and illegal fishing Chinese fishing boats in the sea of Jeju.

In particular, more Chinese fishing boats are expected to flock as the ban on Chinese trawlers, known as sweep fishing, has been lifted on the 16th.

Chinese fishing boats use the technique of hitting and dropping to avoid the coast guard crackdown.

The Coast Guard is responding by jointly cracking down with the South Sea Fisheries Management Team.

Airplanes will also be deployed to crack down on illegal fishing by the end of the year.

The Jeju Coast Guard has been protecting our precious sea by seizing more than 10 illegal fishing Chinese fishing boats in Jeju waters this year, blocking more than 310 ships.
