Air raid warnings were issued across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, the largest city in Israel, as projectiles fired by Hezbollah flew in day after day.

Following recent Iranian ballistic missile attacks, a hole was drilled in Hezbollah drones, leading to more frequent air raid warnings.

Four soldiers were killed and more than 60 injured the previous day when Hezbollah drones fell into a restaurant at a military base in southern Haifa, Israel.

Local media said Israel's air defense network is questioned, saying it appears to be an improved version of the Iranian-made self-destructive drone Mir Saad, which has a range of more than 120 kilometers.

Netanyahu, who visited the affected site, vowed merciless retaliation against Hezbollah.

[Benyamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel] We have made great achievements, and we will continue to move on. It will ruthlessly attack Hezbollah across Lebanon, including Beirut.]

In fact, the Israeli military continued its intense airstrikes across Lebanon.

The first bombing of the town of Aitu in northern Lebanon killed more than 20 people.

Local authorities say migrant rental apartment buildings, which are predominantly Christians, have been targeted.

In the meantime, the EU, following the UN, strongly criticized the forced entry of Israeli tanks into the UN peacekeeping base in Lebanon.

[Hosef Borrell, Senior EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security] Many European Member States are involved in the mission and are very important. Attacking UN peacekeepers is absolutely unacceptable.]

In Gaza, where Hamas is fighting, the second round of polio vaccinations has begun for 550,000 children.

However, the refugee camp, which was scheduled to be inoculated, was canceled after at least 22 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes.

The World Health Organization stressed that a temporary halt to fighting is a prerequisite, saying that the virus can only be prevented from spreading after completing the second dose.
