Trump "will lower energy prices by increasing oil drilling"

U.S. Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump has pledged to lower energy prices by increasing oil drilling if he takes power.

Former President Trump held a town hall meeting in Oaks, Pennsylvania, a rival state, on the 14th local time, and said, "We have more liquid gold than Saudi Arabia, Russia, or any other country under our feet."

In the first year of his term, he stressed, "We will lower energy prices by 50%."

Former President Trump's remarks are interpreted as targeting the fact that shale gas is Pennsylvania's main source of income and voters who suffer from soaring energy prices.
